Longing to see what the new Highline High School is looking like?

Construction on the shiny new campus continues, with a projected opening of Fall 2021.

Co-Principal Clint Sallee checked progress this week with representatives from Bassetti Architects, Skanska, Vanir and Highline’s Capital Construction department.

    • Check out the warm wood beams in the Commons.
    • Visit the auxiliary gym and the main gym where lots of Highline Pirates purple and gold is appearing, and a stockpile of tongue and groove wood flooring awaits installation.
    • See science lab cabinets being installed, walls being painted, the southeast courtyard getting finished and more.

“I know I’m not the only Alumni curious about how they are honoring the history of ol’ HHS.

“For those not able to drive by the new school being built, these are some photos from the ‘new’ main entry, which includes pieces of the original terracotta and the perfect spot to reinstall the stained glass art work.

“Go Pirates!!”
