From resident John White:

David White parked his truck next to the Masonic temple Friday evening (Feb. 10) and walked to the 909 for dinner.

He returned to his truck after dinner to find his back window broken and his black bag (thick computer bag) stolen – which contained his passport and other important items.

The key item is the passport which David needs to travel to China.

The White family is offering a $5000 reward for the return of the bag and its stolen items which are of no value to anyone other than David White.

  1. Was a sign flashing “steal me” on the unattended bag?

Never leave ANYTHING of value visible in your car. That includes loose change in plain sight.

  2. I too parked my truck next to the Masonic temple Friday evening (March 3) and walked to the Tin room for dinner.
When I returned to my truck after dinner to find my passenger window broken and my school bags were stolen – which contained my math studies and a CPR teaching binder and other important items.

I think B-town needs more security in this area. Someone is targeting our community this may affect the security and safety of our community
