Your last chance to submit photos for – Storyboard Burien the film siting photo contest sponsored by the Burien Film Office – will be this Sunday, Nov. 8.

As we previously reported, the city is inviting photographers and filmmakers, both amateur and professional, to submit original photographs capturing film-worthy locations that are unique to Burien.

The photos must be on publicly accessible land or on land approved for filmmaking access and use by the property owner. Property owners are also encouraged to submit photos of their property.

Entering is simple:

  1. Take a photo anywhere in Burien where you can envision a film taking place.
  2. Follow the link below.
  3. Fill out an online form and submit your photo by Nov. 1.
The top three photos will win $250, $100, and $50! Winners will be announced at Burien Arts Vision 20/20 event on Nov. 21.

The submissions will be judged by a community panel and the top three winners will receive a cash prize, be included in the 2015 Burien Arts Association Vision 20/20 event, and may be displayed in the City Hall Lobby.

Contest winners will be announced at the 2015 Burien Arts Association Vision 20/20 art sale on Nov. 21, 2015.
