The Burien Film Office announced the winners of its inaugural ‘Storyboard Burien’ photo contest at the Vision 20/20 Art Gala last Saturday night, and here are the winners: 1st Place: Tyler Bramlet: TylerBramlet_1 2nd Place: Mathew Roland: MathewRoland_2 3rd Place: Andrew Dunn: AndrewDunn_3 Honorable Mention: Jody Blecksmith and Macy Dunkle: MacyDunkle_Honorable Mention JodyBlecksmith_Honorable Mention “These winning photos did an excellent job of representing the places that make Burien unique and contribute to its potential as a filmmaking destination,” said Economic Development Intern Lori Shannon. The City’s Economic Development Manager Dan Trimble announced the winners and spoke of the film office and its connection with the strong arts community at Saturday night’s event. As we previously reported, the Burien Film Office was created after BTB Founder/Publisher Scott Schaefer proposed it at an Economic Development Dialog meeting on Sept. 27, 2014 (the hands below belong to Dan Trimble): It was officially unveiled on May 14, 2015.
