The annual “Boo In Burien” is coming to town on Saturday, Oct. 24th from Noon – 4 p.m., with lots of FREE candy for the kids, as well as the exciting return of the Wiener Dog Races and costume dog parade! This annual event is presented by Discover Burien, and sponsored by Berkshire Hathaway Northwest Real Estate and Davis Dental, and is packed with spook-tacular entertainment for the whole family. Children can trick-or-treat for goodies at downtown businesses with a “Trick or Treat-Welcome” sign from Noon until the treats run out. Don’t miss the free hayrides along SW 152nd Street from Noon until 3 p.m., and be sure to check out all the local shops for deals and treats. This year be sure to pick up your “Shop Burien/Shop Local” card at the Discover Burien tent. When you shop in Burien be sure to present your “Shop Burien/Shop Local” card. When you collect 6 “proofs of purchase” on your card, return the card to Discover Burien to be entered to win a Burien shopping spree-a $250 value! Remember when you buy it in Burien you are helping to support our community. There will be tons of other fun treats all day, including:

  • Trick or Treat In Downtown Burien (kids can go business to business for free candy)

  • Noon – 3 p.m.: Costume Dog Parade registration in Olde Burien
  • 1-2 p.m.: Pumpkin Bowling at Elliot Bay Brewing
  • 2:30-3:30 p.m.: Scary Storytelling at Burien Books
