EDITOR’S NOTE: This post was updated with a quote and donation info on Friday, July 24, 2015. [caption id="attachment_88485" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Anthony from Novus in Burien replaced the broken windows Thursday, July 23.[/caption] The Burien Arts Gallery was broken into and burglarized early Thursday morning (July 23) around 2 a.m., according to the King County Sheriff’s Office. Police responded after PVT Security arrived on scene, after receiving an alarm call at around 1 a.m. The glass front door was broken in and a glass case inside was also broken. “I’ve inventoried all the jewelry and I think only two necklaces were snatched, along with the donation jar with about $20+ in it,” Sybil Davis said. “The alarm going off, and the rapid response of the security guys, and the police aborted this theft. The sad thing is that it’s going to cost Burien Arts upwards of $800+ which for this non profit is a burden! All donations to Burien Arts would be welcome. We will be open for business again today, Friday.”

Fingerprints???
Scruple-less bastards anyways.
So sad. Break-ins are never good, but it seems worse when it is an arts organization.
Dang right it is. I sure would like to catch the little vandals and thieves and kick
some respect into their behinds.
Punk thieves always steal the Donation Jar….Burien needs more cops on patrol at night.
