Burien Indivisible will hold a ‘No Kings: Early Vote’ rally this coming Saturday, Oct. 17, from Noon to 2 p.m. at 1st Ave South and SW 148th Street in Burien, the group announced.
The gathering is part of a nationwide rally effort, according to organizers, who invite community members to attend in red, white and blue or other clothing and costumes suited to the occasion.
“We’ll have our usual upbeat and defiant music and lots of friendship,” organizers said.
Attendees are asked to park in the main Safeway and Mud Bay parking lot rather than the nearby auto supply store’s lot.
Burien Indivisible also reported that more than 40 people attended its second general meeting the previous Wednesday.
