Kennedy Catholic High’s football Lancers bounced back from a season-opening loss with a 33-0 road win over Mount Tahoma on Thursday night, Sept. 10 in non-conference varsity football.
The Lancers took control early, led 20-0 at halftime and added points in each of the final two quarters to finish the shutout.
Kennedy Catholic improved to 1-1, while Mount Tahoma fell to 0-2.
The win came five days after Kennedy Catholic opened its season with a 14-10 loss to Bellevue at Highline Memorial Stadium. Against Mount Tahoma, the Lancers scored 6 points in the first quarter, 14 in the second, 6 in the third and 7 in the fourth.
The Lancers are scheduled to open North Puget Sound League play against the Stadium High Tigers at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Highline Memorial Stadium.
