Students from Burien’s Highline’s Big Picture School helped plant three Vine Maple trees at Seahurst Park in honor of Arbor Day on Wednesday, April 13:

Big Picture recently partnered with the city’s Adopt-a-Park Program, as well as the Environmental Science Center, to engage in an outdoor community learning project. During the school year, 8th graders spend one day each month performing hands-on restoration and water quality testing at Seahurst Park.
