Big Picture recently partnered with the city’s Adopt-a-Park Program, as well as the Environmental Science Center, to engage in an outdoor community learning project. During the school year, 8th graders spend one day each month performing hands-on restoration and water quality testing at Seahurst Park.
Burien Councilmember Nancy Tosta announced the proclamation marking April 13, 2016 as Arbor Day in the City of Burien.
Ben Thompson, an Urban Forestry Specialist from Washington State Department of Natural Resources, presented the City’s Tree City USA flag to commemorate the City of Burien’s 15th year membership.]]>
