All are invited to Lakeview Park at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 3 to celebrate the 143rd anniversary of Arbor Day and also acknowledge the City of Burien’s 14th year as a member of Tree City USA.
A group of eighth grade Sylvester Middle School students (pictured above; read their story here) have donated and are helping plant three Vine Maple trees in the park. The students worked together to organize a fundraising campaign for adding trees to Burien as part of a school project.
Lakeview Park is located at 422 SW 160th Street in Burien.]]>
