Resident Elston Hill took these photos of Washington State Ferry MV Wenatchee Thursday morning (Dec. 31), as it traveled north past Three Tree Point before coming to a stop.
Then it resumed its path north – stopping again momentarily – just north of Vashon Island (click images to see larger versions/slideshow):
The ferry resumed its passage north in this picture, and it appears that it was undergoing some kind of maintenance:
