Highline High remained winless Friday, Sept. 18 after the Liberty High Patriots shut out the Pirates 35-0 in a league football matchup.
The Patriots scored 35 points while holding Highline scoreless, improving Liberty’s record to 2-1. The loss dropped Highline to 0-3 on the season.
Highline will look for its first victory when the Pirates travel south to Auburn for a nonleague matchup against Auburn Mountainview on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Auburn Mountainview enters the game with a 1-2 record after falling 66-41 to Federal Way in its most recent league contest.
Liberty returns to league play Friday, Sept. 25, when the Patriots travel to Mercer Island for a 3A/4A KingCo Crest matchup. Mercer Island is 3-0 following a 10-3 league victory over Inglemoor.
