Tukwila Police officers responded to a large fight involving multiple individuals at Southcenter Mall’s food court on Saturday evening, March 8, 2025.
Despite initial reports suggesting gunfire, police said they found no evidence that any shots were fired and confirmed that no victims with gunshot wounds were located.
“Contrary to some initial reports, officers have found no evidence that any shots were fired and no victims have been found related to the incident with any injuries consistent with gunshot wounds,” Tukwila Police said in a statement.
Due to the nature of the incident, multiple law enforcement agencies responded to assist in securing the area.
Authorities have not yet provided details on what led to the altercation or whether any arrests were made.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are urging any witnesses or individuals with information to come forward.
