Burien Police / King County Sheriff’s Office undercover detectives recently recovered a large amount of narcotics, firearms, dogs and an endangered child:
Last week, they served a search warrant in conjunction with distribution of narcotics in Burien, White Center and surrounding communities.
In addition to a large amount of narcotics (over 6 pounds of methamphetamines), they seized multiple stolen firearms.
They also took 8 dogs into protective custody pending animal cruelty charges and removed a child that was exposed to this environment into protective custody.
“While the work of this unit is often narcotics based investigations, they prioritize cases with a nexus to violence in our community,” police said.
