The King County Medical Examiner’s Office (KCME) has released the identity of the woman who was found dead in Burien’s Eagle Landing Park on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024 as Angela Lei Anne Spears, 40.

As we first reported, deputies responded to a report of a deceased person (“Obvious Death”) along a trail at the park at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Friday, and quickly secured the area to allow first responders to work safely.

At the time, officials stated that there was no indication of any public safety threat related to this tragic incident.

Cases are not released by the KCME until the decedent has been identified and next-of-kin has been notified.

Everyone at South King Media offers our deepest condolences to all who knew and loved Angela.
