A fundraiser Bake Sale will be held this Saturday, Jan. 18 for Emily Ann, a victim of a DUI crash on New Year’s Day that paralyzed her from the waist down (read our previous coverage here). Early on New Year’s Day, a suspected DUI driver crashed into a tree while traveling northbound on 12th Ave South near 112th Street in Burien, killing one passenger and seriously injuring three others. Emily Ann was one of those passengers, and she is now paralyzed from the waist down and recovering at Harborview Medical Center. Doctors have given her a 9% chance of a full recovery. “Emily Ann is a strong and beautiful girl, and she has many challenges ahead,” said Molly Mcneff. “Please help raise money to make those challenges (and her medical bills) a little easier on her family.” The Bake Sale will be held all day at Burien Press, located at 423 SW 152nd.]]>
