The Highline Pirates lost a hard-fought away football match to the Issaquah Eagles by a score of 27-21 on Friday night, Sept. 27, 2024.

The match was a back-and-forth battle, with both teams showcasing their offensive strengths. Issaquah took an early lead, but Highline responded with a surge that saw them briefly retake the lead. However, the Eagles rallied in the final moments to clinch the win.

Pirates QB Ronan Rasmussen threw for 270 yards and 3 TDs.

With this loss, Highline falls to 1-4, while Issaquah improves to 4-1 on the season.

The Pirates will now prepare for their match against the North Creek Jaguars (3-2) in a 4A KingCo match at Highline Memorial Stadium at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3.
