[EDITOR’S NOTE: The following article is another from our youngest-ever Contributor – 10-year old Isabel Herbruger – who has been submitting stories and photos as part of her effort to earn a Girl Scout badge for journalism, as well as qualify for a 4H photography project. She also has three brothers on the Highline wrestling team. We encourage residents of all ages to submit stories and photos for posting – for consideration, please email yours to editor@b-townblog.com!]
Photos and Story by Isabel Herbruger, age 10
Isabel was at the State Wrestling Tournament in Tacoma all day on Friday, Feb. 20, photographing our Highline High Pirate Wrestlers.
Five Pirates were there competing, four boys and one girl.
Jimmy, Justin and Zach – all Seniors – made it to finals.
Sophie made it to finals in the girls. She is also a Senior.
“It is exciting to have so many Pirates do so well,” Isabel said. “I have been posting updates on my Facebook page if anyone wants to see more.”
